Viper
To what depths will you sink
How low will you go
On your belly you slink
As a serpent in the hedgerow
In the shadows you wait
Preparing your strike
You accord no mercy for pain
You viper of darkest night
His heart still aches from loss
Yet you feed your hunger
Thinking nothing of the cost
Vile, malicious monster
Odious coward, repugnant puke
Sowing destruction and planting fear
You enter unwelcomed to loot
For you and your kind judgment is near
If not in this life
Then before the Great Throne
Dark burned away by light
Your evil deeds shown
Naked and without a plea
Before Truth and Might and Purity….
You will stand. No. You will kneel.
I know it’s not intended this way, but I hear this as a rap. The extra syllables in the last lines I think are the reason why, that’s a very spoken-song kind of emphasis.
Very powerful dude.
Thanks.
