Shadow and Light

May 22, 2013

I walk a path of gratitude
Arms spread wide
Shadow and light play across my face
Shadow and light
Desire and want
A flutter in the pit of my stomach
As I move from shadow to light to shadow
An urgency
Burning
Burning within the shadow
Cooled within the Light
I release my borrowed breath
Reminding myself
I am not my own

Al right. Now this was good. I read, and I bothered to comment because I thought this seriously deserved a W-O-W.
The serenity in your expression is like a whip. It’s beautifully written.
